Character Rules
Breeding Rules
- Be respectful to everyone. This includes staff AND other members. We're all here for the same thing.
- Use the best grammar you can. talkin lk dis is frowned upon, and you may find nobody wants to roleplay with you.
- Do not flamebait, troll, or otherwise purposefully annoy another player.
- You can have as many characters as you want, just make sure you can keep track of them all. One account per member.
- This site runs in liquid time. Meaning, you can have multiple threads with the same character at once. Just make sure you can keep track of them all.
- Keep it PG-13. Violence and swearing is fine, provided you keep it to a minimum. We're pretending to be wild canids, it's inevitable somebody's going to get bitten. Characters can court each other and mate, but you must fade to black or timeskip when it's time for hanky panky. Otherwise Proboards gets testy with meh.
- Keep IC and OOC separate. Roleplay characters almost always have a part of their creator in them, but if somebody's character insults your character, it's not meant as an insult to you as a person. Characters can be mortal enemies as long as their players are not.
- Mark threads that anybody can join with [AW] (All welcome). Mark private threads with
.
Character Rules
- No perfect characters. Nobody wants to play with a white blue-eyed wolf that has diamond wings and poops rainbows. Nobody. You character can be full of themselves, but they must have flaws and weaknesses.
- No autohitting, powerplaying, or godmodding. Don't control other characters, especially during a fight. This is an example of what NOT to do:
Bob charged Daren, biting his scruff and throwing him to the ground.
This is the right way:
Bob charged Daren, attempting to grab his scruff and throw him to the ground. - Don't kill another's character without permission. It's the quickest way to start a fight.
- Realism is important, even in a fantasy roleplay. A pup would not able to kill a bear, and it's highly unlikely a single grown wolf would be able to, either.
- No "wolfspeak" please, calling things orbs and audicles and mandibles and such. That's stupid and obnoxious.
- Nobody's forcing you to age your character. Seasons will pass, but that's the beauty of liquid time.
- Every two real-time months, the season will change. Four seasons equals a game year, so one real-time year equals a year and a half in the game.
Breeding Rules
- Forcebreeding in any roleplay is allowed but MUST be agreed upon OOC.
- As stated above, you should fade to black/timeskip when two characters mate.
- A litter for any species will consist of 1-4 pups. There is a low chance of having stillborns and birth defects, and you can have the birthing thread whenever you wish.
- I don't have a problem with homosexual characters, but keep in mind they will not be able to have their own pups. Nature doesn't work that way.
